Drupal Back-End Developer – Join the Brilliance.com Team!

We're looking for a seasoned Drupal developer to take full ownership of the backend at Brilliance.com - a high-traffic US eCommerce platform. If you've spent years building and scaling complex Drupal systems, optimizing large databases, and shipping reliable eCommerce solutions, this role is for you.

Work Setup & Offer:
  • On-site role – work from our office in Gdynia, Poland
  • Relocation package available
  • 12,000 – 20,000 PLN net (+ VAT) / month (B2B)

Brilliance.com is a high-volume jewelry eCommerce platform serving the US market. We're investing heavily in backend performance, reliability, and scalability - and we need a Drupal expert who has been there before: large catalogs, heavy traffic, complex integrations.

Our key goals:
  • Scaling Drupal architecture to handle continued growth
  • Optimizing large, complex databases for speed and reliability
  • Modernizing the eCommerce backend logic and deployment pipelines

Your Responsibilities:
  • Own the Drupal (9/10) backend - architecture, custom modules, hooks, and integrations
  • Design and optimize APIs for internal systems and third-party services
  • Manage and optimize large databases
  • Implement caching strategies and performance improvements for high-traffic eCommerce environments
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end application flow
  • Maintain high standards of security, stability, and code quality across the stack

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer, with the majority in Drupal
  • Deep, hands-on Drupal 9/10 expertise - custom module development, hooks, services, and architecture
  • Proven experience working with large-scale databases - query optimization, indexing, performance tuning at scale
  • Strong eCommerce background - experience with large catalogs, high order volumes, or complex integrations
  • Strong understanding of web security and application architecture principles
  • Strong English skills – we work with the US market

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Drupal Commerce
  • Experience with headless Drupal
