What you actually do:

Talk to teams and understand what’s slowing them down.
Turn messy problems into clear steps.
Build simple automations and workflows (Make, Zapier, n8n).
Use ChatGPT / Claude to help with analysis or tasks.
Fix and improve automations when they break.
Test ideas quickly and keep improving them.
Document what you build so others can use it.

What they really want:

Someone practical, curious, and hands-on.
Good at figuring things out (not waiting for instructions).
Comfortable experimenting and failing fast.
Basic understanding of how tools connect (APIs, webhooks).

What it is NOT:

Not heavy coding
Not a pure “ChatGPT prompt writing” job
Not rigid or step-by-step work

Reality of the role:

Lots of trial and error.
Talking to different teams daily.
Building small AI automations that save time.
Improving processes inside the company.
